| The Rounds family band seen above played as part of a benefit for the American Heart Association April 7 at the Wilkins House. The event that featured six sets of performers was organized by Chyanna Millett in memory of her grandparents, Irene and Curtis Millett, who both passed away from heart-related issues. From left are brothers Rex and Gary Rounds (sax) and Rex's son, Daniel (piano). On drums is Rusty Wiltjer. Below left, Chyanna plays a clarinet duet with Al Struck and Davey Sturdivant sings along as he strums out a tune on his guitar. Chyanna, a senior at Oxford Hills, chose heart disease as senior project. Along the bottom are Lindsey Redgate and Steve Sessions and friends. |
