| Al Clark of AC Communications of Vermont began work Sept. 7 on the Verizon Wireless project. He is shown burying power lines for the building that will be located at the back of the 100'x100' compound. The concrete pad was poured Sept. 9 and cables buried in preparation for the arrival of the communications building. The small shack at the right rear houses the Waterford Fire Dept. radio repeater equipment. The repeater antenna for the department is located atop the tower. The white console at right houses the fiber optic connection. |

| The communications building for Verizon Wireless was lifted into place Oct. 18 at the Rice Hill cell site. High winds prevented crews from placing the three assembled antennas atop the 180-foot tower. The US Cellular signal went live March 11. The crane has been rescheduled for Oct. 29. |
