Demolition Debris Fees
The March, 2006 Waterford Town Meeting approved establishing fees for the disposal of Construction & Demolition Debris at the W.A.S.T.E. Transfer Station. These fees are as follows:
- Minimum fee………………………………. $10
- Small pickup truck (short bed)……………... $50
- Regular pickup (long bed)… ………………..$100
- Dump truck or trailer………………………...$200
These fees became effective May 1, 2006.
The fees will be paid by the disposer of the Construction & Demolition Debris* with $25 vouchers intended for this purpose. Vouchers, amounting to the required value shall be given to the Transfer Station Attendant before unloading. Vouchers can be purchased at the following locations:
- Waterford Town Office
- Stoneham Town Office
- AJs Store, Stoneham
*Construction and Demolition Debris: waste resulting from construction, remodeling, or demolition of structures. It includes, but not limited to, building materials, asphalt shingles and roofing, and any similar materials. It does not include asbestos products and other special wastes, which must be disposed of at an approved hazardous waste site. (Furniture, mattresses, tires and white goods are not classified as Construction & Demolition Debris)
