Passport Services
Anyone in need of information regarding passport services may call or stop by the Oxford County Probate Court at 26 Western Avenue in South Paris or the Bridgton Post Office. Both are authorized by the U.S. Department of State to accept passport applications. All the necessary forms are available.
You will need an official copy of your birth certificate along with with a photo ID such as a driver’s license. You will need to prove who you are and that you are a U.S. citizen.
The cost of an adult passport is $75 plus a $25 execution fee. There are different costs for children, expedited or other services. It will take between four and six weeks to receive a passport. There is an expedited process available to issue passports quickly when there is an emergency.
